The Farm at Creativity World Forum 2017
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be participating in the Creativity World Forum, an annual gathering of more than 2,000 of the world’s most inspiring, creative, and innovative people.
Dubbed “the Roskilde Festival for knowledge”, the 13th annual conference will take place this November in the Danish city of Aarhus—one of this year’s European Capitals of Culture. With a jam-packed programme of high-level talks, co-creative activities, and satellite events around the city, the forum will be Europe’s largest forum on entrepreneurial creativity in 2017. Top-drawer speakers this year include Stefan Sagmeister, Tom Kelley, and Henrik Vibskov.
Let’s grow together
At a breakout session at this year’s forum, SPACE10 will present The Farm—our lab exploring and prototyping alternative methods for growing, distributing and integrating food production in our cities. The Farm invites us to consider how to grow tasty, nutritious food locally and make it accessible and affordable for the many people, as well as how to tackle the increasing demand for food by pioneering a new paradigm of symbiotic food production and distribution.
During the three-hour session led by project lead Stefannia Russo, visitors will get a chance to experience our hydroponic farm and salad bar, LOKAL, and enjoy dishes produced with micro-greens served right where they’re grown, prepared by SPACE10’s chef-in-residence, Simon Perez. They’ll also get to say hello to Sprout—an ongoing experiment exploring how we can make local farming more accessible to the many people through voice.
