SPACE10 Gallery and Test Kitchen Opening
Three years ago, SPACE10 opened its doors in Copenhagen’s meatpacking district. Since then, we’ve been home to everything from a vertical farm to an open office space. But as we grew, so did our needs—and, together with architecture studio Spacon & X, we came up with a new typology for our office design that can adapt and transform as we do. On March 8, we’d like to invite you to celebrate the opening of two brand ‘new spaces’ that allow us to have daily interactions with our community: the Test Kitchen and Gallery.
Here’s a short glimpse into our ‘new spaces’—all within the same square metres as we originally started out with.
We partnered up with our good friends from Depanneur to create a culinary space exploring imaginative and sustainable ways for growing, making and experiencing food and beverages in the city. On an everyday basis, the Test Kitchen will eventually offer a very simple day-to-day menu.
The Gallery is a space for showcasing projects, generating dialogue and exchanging ideas within the fields of architecture, design and technology. On the day of the opening, we will be preveiwing our first-ever exhibition at the Gallery: SolarVille. It’s a working prototype of a miniature neighbourhood completely powered by solar energy.
So, if you’d like to have a drink and explore how we brought our vision of SolarVille to life, join us from 5–9PM.
